Founded in 1952, Merrychef is the pioneer in the application of microwave energy in Catering in the 1950s and World’s leading designer, manufacturer and supplier of Accelerated Cooking Systems. Merrychef has been a part of the Enodis Family since July 2008. Manitowoc however, recently acquired Enodis last October 2008. With annual revenues of about US$40 million, Merrychef boasts of 140+ employees across 3 facilities in Ash Vale UK (Head office, Research and Development, Manufacturing and Service Center), Sheffield UK (manufacturing) and Fort Wayne USA (Distribution).

Merrychef also established their In-House Development Kitchen to demonstrate the company’s Cooking Capability. It will also be used to promote equipment usage with hot food retailers (end users), distributors and food manufacturers alike. The In-House Development Kitchen keeps a diary of live cooking demo’s and food/menu testing which is updated daily.

In partnership with major food manufacturers and hot food retailers, Merrychef is constantly investing in research and development to reduce order-to-table times, eliminate waste and expand menus.  Merrychef ovens help our clients to increase productivity, reduce costs and improve profits.
